The Home On The Range Community Dance Association was organized by a group of Iron Range dancers and musicians in the fall of 1997. | |
|
During the thirteen years of its existence Home On The Range sponsored more than one hundred dances in Ely, Tower, Virginia, Hibbing, Grand Rapids, International Falls, Brimson, and other communities throughout northern Minnesota. The first community dance was held at the Tower Civic Center on January 24, 1998, and the last dance was held at the Laurentian Environmental Center on March 20, 2010.
FriendsOnTheRange, in several different configurations but always anchored by Jim Ganahl and Carol Booth, was the house band for the Home On The Range Community Dance Association. |
